Report a concern
Terra Energy Services Nigeria Limited is committed to integrity, transparency and respect for the law. If you suspect wrongdoing connected with our business, you can report it here. Every report is taken seriously, handled confidentially to the fullest extent reasonably practicable, and looked into fairly.
Who can report
Anyone with information about suspected wrongdoing connected with Terra: suppliers, vendors, contractors and subcontractors, clients and business partners, consultants, former employees, and members of the public. Employees have their own route (see the note below).
What you can report
- Fraud and financial misconduct
- Bribery, corruption or conflict of interest
- Procurement or contract irregularity
- Abuse of authority or serious misconduct
- Harassment, discrimination or victimisation
- Health, safety or environmental violation
- Human rights or labour exploitation
- Legal, regulatory or data-protection breach
- Retaliation against someone who raised a concern
This list is not exhaustive. Any serious misconduct, unethical behaviour or significant risk to the company or its stakeholders can be reported.
What happens next
- Your report is received by a restricted group of authorised people, not by general staff.
- We acknowledge it within five working days, where you have given us a safe way to contact you.
- It is assessed, where practicable within ten working days, and an independent, impartial investigator is appointed where needed.
- You may be updated on progress and told when the matter is concluded, where this is safe and will not compromise the investigation.
A report is never rejected only because you could not provide every detail.
Your protection
- Confidentiality. Your identity and the details of your report are shared only with people who need to know. Absolute confidentiality cannot be guaranteed where disclosure is needed for a fair investigation, legal advice, regulators or law enforcement, or required by law.
- No retaliation. Terra prohibits retaliation against anyone who raises a concern in good faith. You do not have to prove anything; an honest belief is enough.
- Anonymous reports are accepted. You do not have to give your name. Anonymity can limit our ability to ask questions or update you, so give as much detail as you safely can.
- Good faith. Knowingly false or malicious reports intended to harm someone may lead to action.
- Your right to go elsewhere. Nothing stops you from making a lawful disclosure directly to a regulator or law enforcement agency.
Please note
- Immediate danger? If someone's life, health or safety, or the environment, is at immediate risk, contact emergency services or the site HSE team straight away. Do not wait for this form.
- Prefer email? You can write to speakup@terranig.com, with documents or other evidence attached, and put “Whistleblowing” in the subject.
- Employees: please report through employeesvoice@terranig.com. Ordinary employment complaints (promotion, appraisal, allowances and similar) go through the Grievance Procedure.
